We have been given the unique opportunity to operate a space at Tegel Airport—more specifically, the legendary former cargo canteen! Various event formats will take place there in the future. Music, comedy shows, culinary events, and political formats—our long-term goal is to establish our very own khisdapaze Berlin location there and operate it as a cultural center with all of you in a highly participatory approach. Directions: The site of the old freight canteen in Tegel is located in Building I, ZKS I, next to the Charlottenburg Nord volunteer fire department. The coordinates are as follows:
If you are arriving by car, please enter the final stop of the 109 bus line as your destination: Urban Tech Republic or the freight hall, as the site is currently still behind a barrier. You will arrive at the bus stop, where you can park your car or bicycle and then find your way through the barrier directly to our site.
The following events are planned for 2025:
- September 27, 12:00 - 22:00: TXL takeover
- October 18, 12:00 - 22:00: TXL takeover 2.0
- November 29/30: khisdapaze Winter Market:
On the first weekend of Advent, we will be hosting the first winter market on the TXL model area. There will be everything you need for a wonderful winter or Christmas season: warm mulled wine and other non-alcoholic hot drinks, delicious food, stalls where visitors can buy Christmas gifts and other items, a bit of entertainment, and the finest background music and live music. The winter market will take place outdoors, but most of it will be covered. We will provide fire barrels and a cozy atmosphere.
The event is open to everyone and admission is on a donation basis.
November 29: 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
November 30: 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
